Hi, I’m Libby — the artist behind Libby Allex Studio.

I create watercolor pet portraits and wildlife artwork inspired by the animals that leave a lasting impact on our lives. My goal is always to capture more than just appearance. I want each painting to reflect personality, expression, and the connection people feel with the animals they love.

I’ve loved drawing since I was young and even kept little portfolios of my favorite sketches growing up. My love for watercolor came later and was inspired by my grandmother, who was a talented watercolor artist herself. What started as curiosity quickly became something much bigger.

Today, alongside running my business, I’m also a homeschool mom to two baseball-loving boys. Life is busy, creative, and often covered in watercolor paint — and I truly wouldn’t have it any other way.

Every portrait is painted by hand with careful attention to detail, quality materials, and a deep appreciation for the trust my clients place in me when they ask me to paint someone so meaningful to them.

 Shop Policies

  • I take great care in creating each pet portrait, greeting card, framed print, and digital product, and I want you to love your order! Please review the return policy below for each product type.

    Pet Portraits

    Each pet portrait is custom-made, so I only accept returns for damaged or defective products.

    • Notify me within 5 days of receiving your order by emailing libby@libbyallexstudio.com with a description and photos of the issue.

    • Ship the item back within 30 days once your return request is approved.

    Once I receive the returned item, I will issue a replacement or refund. Shipping costs for approved returns may be covered on a case-by-case basis.

    Greeting Cards, Prints & Original Wildlife Artwork

    All greeting cards, prints, and original wildlife artwork are carefully created and inspected before shipping. Because of their nature, I only accept returns for damaged or defective items.

    Notify me within 5 days of receiving your order by emailing libby@libbyallexstudio.com with a description and photos of the issue.

    Ship the item back within 30 days once your return request is approved.

    Digital Products

    All digital products are non-refundable and non-returnable due to their instant access nature. If you experience any issues with your download, please contact me at libby@libbyallexstudio.com, and I’ll be happy to assist you.
